Archery Facility Helmstadt

The archery facility in Helmstadt is a small but beautiful area in Helmstadt, where you can let a few arrows fly when arriving or departing from our region. It is also well suited for a quick little after-work round for archery enthusiasts.

It consists of a shooting range and a small course with ten stations on the outskirts of Helmstadt, in the immediate vicinity of the A3 motorway access. The stations are equipped with two to three 3D animals. The terrain is flat and is mostly on a meadow. So it is very easy for anyone to commit.

Registration and Course Use

Registration takes place at the registration hut on site. Registration forms are available there, which after filling in must be thrown into a slot along with the course fee. The registration is based on trust.

In order to be able to use the archery facility in Helmstadt, you must have your own archery equipment or at least bring it with you, as there is no rental of bows on site.

Prices and Opening Hours

The course is open all year round. The opening times are daily from 10:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. or in the summer months (May to August) until 9:00 p.m.

The fee is a daily fee, i.e. you can do as many laps as you like during the day. Adults (aged 18 and over) pay EUR 7 per day, children and young people (8 up to and including 16 years) pay EUR 5 and children under 8 years accompanied by a paying adult are free of charge. To find the course as easily as possible, just enter Am Schützenhaus, 97264 Helmstadt in your GPS. Coming from Helmstadt in the direction of Üttingen, the facility is located approx. 500 meters after the end of the village on the left at the Schützenhaus. Parking is sufficiently available.

The archery facility in Helmstadt is open all year round daily from 10:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. In the summer months (May to August) even until 9 p.m.

Coming from Helmstadt, it is on the left in the direction of Üttingen approx. 500 meters after the end of the village. Coming from Üttingen it is approx. 2 km on the right hand side just before Helmstadt.
