The Perfect Location: We are in the Middle of Germany!
The advantage of a bow holiday in our region is that you usually have a relatively short journey.
Our region is located almost exactly in the middle of Germany in the border triangle between Bavaria, Baden-Wuerttemberg and Hesse. By the highways A3, A7, A45 and A81 we are very easy to reach.
If you have ever spent a bow holiday in the Alpine region, you have certainly already passed us by. Almost all north-south connections run directly through our region.

Archery on the nine 3D courses
3D archery is our passion. That is why you can currently find nine wonderful archery courses in our region with around 245 stations within a radius of only 50-60 km. On this course there are more than 745 3D animals in the middle of the beautiful and varied landscapes of the Main Valley, Franconia, of the Spessart and the Odenwald.
The natural features and terrain of our courses include high forest areas, deciduous and coniferous forests, meadows, plains, hilly landscapes, hillsides, streams and ponds, lakes, quarries and much more.
They are not only suitable for ambitious archers but also for beginners. If you do not have your own equipment, you can rent bow equipment from various providers in our region.
On our course, the challenge and the fun of our guests in 3D archery are in the foreground. That’s why we run our courses. So you can be sure our courses set standards and your bow holiday will be a real adventure experience.
All of our nine archery courses are open all year round. Das heißt du kannst deinen Bogenurlaub bei uns auch gerne im Spätherbst, Winter oder Frühjahr verbringen. 365 days of archery – no winter break! Only here.
Of course, you can also bring your four-legged companion to your bow holiday with us. Dogs are generally allowed on all nine courses, provided they are kept on a leash.
Relaxation & Pleasure
Nature here offers not only the best conditions for the construction of archery courses, it is also the basis for our winemaking tradition and our good Franconian food. In addition to the typical Häckerwirtschaften and inns, there are also numerous restaurants with international cuisine, which spoil their guests with culinary delights.
Have you ever tried our Franconian wines? A wine tasting e.g. in the Churfrankenvinothek in Bürgstadt is definitely worth it. But not only can we grow good wines, but we also have many very good breweries and distilleries with us, who make wonderful beers, whiskey, gin or fruit brandies.
If you, in addition to culinary benefits, do not want to miss out on a physical wellness program, you will surely find what you are looking for in the wellness offers of some hotels in the region or in the thermal baths.
Inspiration – History and Culture
Along the river Main, there are numerous castles, monasteries and churches that bear historical witness to the turbulent history of our region.
In the very heart of the 3D-Bogenregion in the so-called „Mainviereck“ between the cities of Obernburg, Miltenberg and Wertheim are six castles, some of which are really worth seeing. The castles of Wertheim, Freudenberg and Klingenberg regularly host cultural events such as plays, musicals, concerts or festivals.
With the Residenz in Würzburg, the castle Johannisburg in Aschaffenburg or the castle of the Prince of Löwenstein in Kleinheubach, there are also some notable magnificent buildings to visit.
Numerous music festivals and concerts take place during the summer months, such as the Taubertal-Festival, One Race Human or the Aquaphobia Festival.
If you prefer theater or opera, you also have an option. Frankfurt is not far away! Or you just visit the cabarets of the region.
Ancient trade routes and half-timbered houses are best explored on a short hike. You can also find traces of the Romans here, as the Limes ran right through our region.
Being Active – Leisure Activities aside from Archery
Anyone who would like to do other sporty or active activities in addition to archery can do so in many different ways.
For example, there are wonderful walks on our hiking trails, such as the Fränkischer Rotweinwanderweg (Franconian Red Wine Trail). The Main Valley also offers ideal conditions for bicycle tours along the Maintalradweg (Main Valley Cycle Path). Those who prefer to drive through terrain, can on the numerous mountain bike trails, for example in Miltenberg or Collenberg.
There are tennis and golf courses as well as the possibility to climb. Those who prefer to move on the water can do canoe tours or boat trips with the passenger ships on the Main.
Bathing mermaids can let off steam in the many swimming pools, bathing lakes and spas of the region.
Also for families with small children there are numerous activities, such as a visit to a forest playground, zoo or a miniature golf course.
